For a dynamic online company we're looking for a Purchase Manager.

The person will lead the procurement team and manage supplier relationships globally, with a strong focus on China. The Purchase Manager will ensure that the supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support new product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
Functie-eisen
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on
    international procurement.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and global sourcing,
    particularly from China.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business fluent Italian and English
