Senior ESG Analyst (80-100%)

as well as their actions to effectively tackle the global sustainability challenges. Inrate’s research
methodology has been developed and enhanced over the past 20 years. Our range of services includes
ESG analysis, sustainability assessments and shareholder services under the zRating label.
For our office in Zurich, we are looking for a smart, dynamic and committed
Your tasks:
o Ownership of the review and analysis of pre-filled sustainability profiles of listed companies.
o Validate ESG impact ratings in accordance with the internally developed methodology for
assessing listed companies on their sustainability performance.
o Propose and perform diverse quality assurance tasks and drive new initiatives with our data
provider.
o Conduct ESG assessment based on primary and secondary data, identify relevant controversies
in company analysis and maintain sectors ESG analysis reports.
o Coordinate a sub-team of Junior ESG analysts and mid-level research analysts based in India.
o Actively support the further development of the methodology and drive new projects.
o Contact person for clients queries related to the methodology or the sector specific ratings.
Requirements:
o Master's degree or higher in a sustainability related field, ideally in environmental sciences, social
or in economic sciences, banking and finance or similar.
o At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or in the field of sustainability, ideally in
combination with experience in financial markets and with reporting standards.
o Relevant work experience in specific sectors such as energy, health, transportation or financial.
o Self-motivation, strongly analytical as well as entrepreneurial thinking, solution oriented coupled
with a high degree of independence and willingness for above-average commitment.
o Project manager skills as an advantage.
o Excellent oral and written skills in English, German and any other language as an advantage.
