Innovation R&D Scientist, Intern
Haleon Nyon is responsible for the production of some of the company's healthcare products, such as the Voltaren, Fenistil, Otrivin and many others. Our production lines are divided into 3 zones. These represent the degree of proximity to the product's active chemicals.
As Innovation R&D Scientist you'll be part of the Innovation Team, and you will support the R&D wider team in creating a "competitive intelligence" tool and accountable for specific tasks within this initiative.

Key Role responsibility
- Develop a CI tool to facilitate proactive API portfolio management.
- Review, compile and organize the existing assessment data into a structured repository, liaising closely with Medical Affairs Team.
- Coordination to consolidate work already done in one place in a simplified manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team SMEs, particularly in Medical, Safety/Toxicology, Clinical and Eco-Toxicology, for input, filling data-gap and validation. Incorporate feedback and refine the tool accordingly.
- Run ad-hoc literature searches as necessary.
- Support Global and Local teams in identifying pipeline opportunities.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for tool access and usage.
- Documentation outlining tool functionalities and usage guidelines.
- Stakeholder engagement plan for tool dissemination and support.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Scientific disciplines such as Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biology, Clinical Research, Biochemistry
- Maximum 25 years old
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideally Regulatory / Medical/ Safety experience in academic or enterprise environment.
- Result-oriented, ability to problem-solve and to "connect-the-dots" among different scientific disciplines.
