Scientist in Nuclear Reactor Core Simulations
- Development and qualification of core simulation methodologies based on advanced nodal solvers for current and future reactor systems
- Development and validation of 3-D neutron transport methods with coupling to higher-resolution thermal-hydraulic and/or thermo-mechanical solvers
- Establishment of methodologies using statistical methods and/or artificial intelligence techniques for uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analyses in multi-physics reactor core simulations
- Publication of scientific articles and supervision of students
- PhD degree in reactor physics, nuclear engineering or physics
- Strong background in neutronic and multi-physics simulation methods
- Solid knowledge of multi-phase flow and heat transfer
- High proficiency in modern programming and scripting
- Familiarity with mathematical statistical methods and artificial intelligence techniques
- Fluency in spoken and written English
