What you will do:
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a portfolio of countries (6-8 countries).
Working closely with external payroll provider, internal People, Reward and Accounting teams, you will define and lead consistent, standardized and compliant end-to-end delivery of Payroll services.
Ensure accuracy and productivity of the payroll functions including payroll vendor relations and internal control monitoring.
Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures and internal/external audits.
Ensure data accuracy between Workday & Payroll record by conducting regular audits.
Ensure that Payroll reports from Workday are working and configured correctly for all countries.
Partner with C&B team to implement new pension, benefits and reward policies, ensuring monthly management in payroll.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year-end close, including account reconciliations of payroll related balances.
Respond to all internal and external inquiries on payroll related issues, social insurance, taxation and audits.
Establish and monitor service quality standards and coach team in accordance.
Lead process improvement efforts to standardize Payroll processes across regions, leverage best practices, and reduce complexity.
Essential skills:
Proven experience managing payroll for at least three countries in the EMEA Region.
A mindset focused on process enhancement and continuous improvement for delivering high-quality and efficient Payroll services.
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across the larger organization.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
Preferred skills:
People management experience.
Experience with Italian and German Payroll.
Experience in using Workday.
