Accountant - Accounts Payable

MISSION
We are seeking an Accountant (specialised in Accounts Payable) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment. The Accountant will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving and entering invoices in the system.
- Checking supplier invoices based on the purchase order.
- Preparing payments and keeping record of all invoices.
- Resolving all payables-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure operational supplier accounting.
- Maintaining account ledgers and assisting in monthly closing.
- Ensuring that the Purchase request/Purchase order process is well known and understood by all the EMS employees.
- Working with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis.
PROFILE
• Diploma/degree in Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong PC skills, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Dynamic personality with potential to grow with the company.
• Fluent in French, good knowledge of English
