Regional Sales Manager Government Document Solutions
Objective of the position: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that the product portfolio and services are positioned and sold in the best possible way in the assigned country markets.
Main tasks:
- Optimal care of existing customers and development of potential new customers
- Ensuring a successful agent network in the relevant countries
- Seamless communication on project status and developments with customers / agents
- Ensuring the effective handling of customer projects with customer service and all internally relevant interfaces
- Planning and organization of customer visits, workshops and agent trainings
- Participation in international trade fairs and conferences such as Intergraf
- Ongoing market and trend analyses; also ensuring the positioning and distribution of new products and services
- International travelling approx. 25%
Requirements:
- Master/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or similar
- Technically sound know-how in the field of optics, physics or chemistry
- Several years of sales/business development, customer consulting experience in the investment goods market environment (long-term, strategic sales projects - up to 5 years)
- Strong in building personal, long-term relationships and networks
- Excellent presentation skills, proactive, communicative, adaptive, strongly customer and result oriented
- English as mother tongue preferred, German orally, other languages an advantage
