We're looking for a skilled Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join our finance team at Sunrise. This role is key in maintaining accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and driving process improvements within the accounting function. If you are experienced in financial group accounting and thrive in a dynamic environment, we'd like to hear from you.
- Advising on complex non-routine transactions - such as contract reviews, material capex transactions, new promotions
- Writing accounting position papers and memos on quarterly non-routine transactions
- Managing and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting initiatives
- Managing Sunrise's IFRS accounting manual and ensure compliance with it
- Acting as Finance SPOC for business projects and implementations (new product offerings, IFRS 15 promotions, software implementations etc.)
- Driving process changes and improvements throughout the accounting and reporting function
- Completed university or technical college studies with a focus on accounting or similar (finance, economics) and CPA qualification
- Several years of practical experience in financial group accounting of a national/international group, in auditing or in a similar position
- Profound knowledge in IFRS and/or US-GAAP reporting standards
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Structured & accurate way of working
- Proactive and solution oriented
- Fluent in written and spoken English
