Auditor chemistry (f/m)

job description

Our auditors conduct audits with regard to environmental, occupational health and product stewardship. The auditors plan, prepare and carry out audits at chemical suppliers around the world; the present position’s focus is on our activities in Latin America. The findings are documented in comprehensive and consultative audit reports which evaluate the compliance of the audited company with the requirements of the bluesign®criteria. Agreed improvements and corrective measures are followed-up and the progress is documented.
This job is challenging - and it offers the unique chance to change things towards sustainability in the world of textiles.

 

major responsibilities

  • Perform audit on site with focus on Latin America
  • Prepare extensive evaluations and audit reports in English
  • follow-up of agreed improvements and corrective measures, as well as documentation of the progress

 

requirements

  • A Master degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related science
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant chemical industries
  • Profound knowledge in the field of environment, occupational health and consumer safety
  • Profound knowledge and experience in the field of product stewardship, classification and labelling of chemical products
  • Good knowledge of the chemical supply chain
  • Previous auditing experience (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 or similar)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Deeper knowledge and experience about textile dyestuffs is an advantage
