Clinical Validation Engineer
In the role of Clinical Validation Engineer, you will be part of the QA Solutions team. We develop software products for automated quality assurance procedures of medical Linacs and patient treatments which are seamlessly integrated into the clinical workflow to fulfill customer needs.
Our department is responsible for design and implementation of innovative and reliable quality assurance procedures for the newest treatment methods to support our businesses for treatment planning and delivery systems including photon, proton and brachy therapy.

Contribute to the design, development and modification of radiation oncology QA products.
Ensure medical devices being developed are of high quality and conform with user needs and intended uses.
Define strategies for comprehensive system and clinical testing of new products to demonstrate that they meet user needs and requirements.
Ensure that validation is complete, and that Varian's products are safe and effective with the corresponding test evidence.
Actively participate in requirements analysis, use case definition and risk hazard analysis.
Act as key resource for the technical team to understand the clinical product use.
Lead seminars or trainings to enhance employee product knowledge.
Maintain external technical awareness necessary to perform credible product evaluations.
3 years of experience in radiation oncology (i.e. Medical Physicist, Radiation Therapist, or Medical Dosimetrist) required.
Advanced experience in quality assurance of patient treatment equipment.
Experience in treatment planning and dosimetry data management are an asset.
Independent working style.
Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving abilities with good communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
