Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer (m/w)
Field of activity: Your new role is developing mechanics for innovative products
Within our customer projects you will develop mechanical devices or device components for high-quality and innovative consumer goods that typically will be produced in medium to large volumes. Development starts with simple functional samples and continues in iterations until detailed designs are attained, ready for tooling, manufacturing and launching mass production.
As part of a highly motivated and interdisciplinary project team, consisting of mechanical engineers, hardware- and software-engineers, and if required physicists and other specialists, you will contribute to bring new and innovative products to life.
As an engineer, feeling comfortable in mechanical systems, you keep overall-system and mass-production focus to bring out the best solutions.
As a mechanical engineer or mechanical designer you will be responsible for
Mechanical concepts and design in all development and design stages
CAD design of devices or device components
Prototype assembly incl. improvement loops and testing
Creation of manufacturing data, drawings and assessment of the corresponding parts
Functional, device component and device testing and verification
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation

You are a graduate engineer having majored in mechanical engineering or mechanical design.
Mastering of a 3D-CAD system - ideally PTC Creo - is a pre-requisite.
Creativity and the wish & drive to develop clever solutions are part of your DNA.
You are experienced in the development of complex parts/ assemblies/ complete devices, ideally for mass-produced products. You are skilled to create designs for plastic injection molding and other materials.
Ideally you also bring an interest and understanding in electronics and/or software - the products you will design are almost always as interdisciplinary as the team you will work with.
Self-confidence, good communication skills, eagerness to learn and acquire new skills and enjoying being part of a dynamic project team with close customer contact are characteristics that are central to this position. Applications for a full-time employment are preferred. Candidates are expected to be able to communicate in English and German.
