Technical Sales Consultant - Airline or Pharma (m/f/d)

Software is not just vital but a strategic cornerstone in our operations. Now, we're on the lookout for a Technical Sales Consultant who is engaging and driven when it comes to qualifying potential leads and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders.
Here's what you'll do:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives during the pre-sales phase
- Collaborate with the sales team and product experts to design solutions that address the specific requirements of potential clients
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products or services, staying up-to-date with new features, updates, and industry trends
- Provide technical expertise to potential clients, including conducting product demonstrations, explaining technical concepts, and addressing technical questions or concerns
- Create compelling and customized proposals and presentations that clearly outline the benefits and advantages of the proposed solutions
- Coordinate and oversee the creation of proof of concepts or prototypes to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solutions
- Stay informed about competitors' offerings and strengths, positioning the company's solutions effectively in comparison
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing
- Support the sales team in negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract review, ensuring that client expectations align with the proposed solution
- Gather feedback from potential clients and share insights with the product development and marketing teams
- Depending on the company and industry, travel may be required to meet with potential clients, attend trade shows, or participate in on-site demonstrations
This is what you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Business, Computer Science, or supply chain (or equivalent experience)
- Several years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales, preferably selling to pharma companies or airlines
- In-depth technical knowledge of the supply chain visibility products and their practical applications for airlines and pharma companies
- Have experience in selling integrated hardware and software solutions to provide comprehensive offerings to clients
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage pre-sales activities and track performance
- Depending on the company and industry, travel may be required to meet with potential clients, attend trade shows, or participate in on-site demonstrations
