To support our e-Transport Solutions group and to provide efficient technical service to our customers, based in our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, we are looking for a:

Service Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver and commission customer projects worldwide
  • Assemble and configure Battery systems at the customer’s premises and/or in production
  • Run functional tests
  • Perform troubleshooting of a battery system
  • Run Log file analysis, produce failure analysis and issue reports
  • Support the customer in case of technical issues
  • Prepare instructions and customer documents in English
  • Deliver hands on training for customer
  • Communicate with clients, engineers, and other technicians so to ensure that services are delivered effectively
  • Follow up on service requests and provide customer feedback
  • Continuously improve and develop the process related to the commissioning, repairs on projects

Skills and Experience

  • CFC Electrician (or equivalent), Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Good command of mechanical configuring electrical & mechanical assemblies
  • Trained and experienced in low voltage installations (up to 1200 volts would be a plus)
  • Experience on CANbus monitoring is nice to have
  • Ability to understand schematic and specifications documentation

Languages

  • English and French languages fluent spoken and writing
  • German language would be an asset

This job will require travelling (up to 60%).
