Position Summary: The Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in the family office by preparing detailed reports on investment portfolios and overall wealth management activities. The reporting consolidates all assets of the family reporting the overall wealth. This role ensures that the family office's stakeholders receive accurate and timely information to providing insights to support fact-based decision-making in the investment area.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on portfolio performance, asset allocation, and investment strategies
- Analyze investment performance and provide detailed commentary on key drivers and market trends
- Generate and analyze reports on portfolio performance, asset allocation, and investment strategies
- Collaborate with the investment team to analyze potential new investments
- Consolidate financial data from various internal and external sources
- Develop and maintain efficient reporting templates and dashboards
- Collaborate with the investment team to gather and verify data
- Ensure all reports comply with regulatory and internal standards.
- Assist in preparing presentations for family members and other stakeholders
- Monitor liquidity, risk metrics, and financial projections
- Support audit processes by providing required documentation
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in financial reporting, preferably in asset management or banking
- Deep understanding of bankable assets and private equity
- High quality financial analysis
- Experience in family office (is a plus but not mandatory)
- Experience with Altoo (is a plus but not mandatory)
Education:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, at Fachhochschule or university. or a related field; CFA or CPA preferred
- Knowledge: Understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and asset classes
- Languages: German / English / Spanish is an asset
