The Mango group is looking to recruit a highly motivated technician to join the group.

We seek a skilled technician to use modern molecular approaches to study chromatin biology during C. elegans development. This person will assist and train members of the lab in chromatin methods, contribute to lab organization and have a scientific project of their own.

Applicants should have a degree as a laboratory technician or a degree in molecular biology or related topics. Previous experience in biochemistry, chromatin analysis, C. elegans, molecular biology and/or imaging are highly desirable. The role requires flexibility, good organizational and communication abilities, and a talent to multi-task. Enthusiasm and motivation for biological research are critical. The primary language of the laboratory and the Biozentrum is English.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to a vibrant research community. The position is initially for 2 years with option for extension. Salary and benefits according to University of Basel standards.
