For our client, one of the leading IT service providers in Switzerland, we are looking for a Data Center System Engineer.
Place of work: Reinach BL, Urtenen-Schönbühl BE or Spreitenbach AG
Your tasks

• A varied job as a system engineer with a broad product and solution portfolio
• You work on the design, plan and implement data center solutions
• You implement entire or partial projects on site at customers or remotely
• You support our solution architects and pre-sales
• You work on proof of concepts of new technologies
• You will continuously educate yourself with us and thereby recognize new approaches and trends
• You support our customers with support requests
• Willingness for on-call duty

Your profile

• You have vocational training in the field of computer science or have equivalent training or further education
• You have IT infrastructure expertise in one or more areas: virtualization, servers, storage, backup or cloud technologies
• You are interested in new technologies and trends, you educate yourself independently and continuously and you are motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics
• You understand Swiss German, have very good knowledge of German (Level C2) and good written and spoken English skills
• You are a service-oriented team player with initiative and enjoy dealing with customers
• Ticket Cat. B
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus (e.g. Netapp, Dell, Pure Storage, VMware, Veeam, Cisco, etc.)
