Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Medical Advisor Alpine. You will provide medical expertise in the assigned therapeutical areas across Galderma portfolio (Rx, Ax, Cx) to ensure high quality scientific and medical advice, education, and information to internal and external stakeholders, concerning in line and in pre-launch products and new products under development.
The role reports to Senior Medical Manager Alpine.
Key Responsibilities
To develop and execute the local medical activities, lead medical strategy and key projects for assigned areas (Cx, Ax, Rx), part of the regional tactical plan and global strategy, under the supervision of the Senior Medical Manager Alpine Head of Medical in Alpine
To provide thorough up-to-date medical and scientific expertise in the expertise areas of focus to drive Galderma medical messages delivery to key stakeholders (prescribing physicians, physician-researchers, pharmacists, scientists, key opinion leaders) and build partnership with them. Respond timely to medical enquiries.
To work closely – internally - cross-functionally (marketing, market access, sales, regulatory, compliance, QA, pharmacovigilance…) and – externally - with medical Dermatology community, patient organizations and external stakeholders, to ensure high quality scientific and medical, information and education is provided.
Identifies local needs and possibilities for joint value creation with internal & external healthcare system stakeholders and develops projects to address them
To review and co-develop promotional and non-promotional material
To collaborate with Alpine Medical affairs and EMEAC team members in the execution of relevant clinical activities in assigned projects and to ensure alignment of local medical activities with the Global strategy
Ensure operational excellence and compliance. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as Galderma standards
Responsible for clinical trial oversight within the country and liaise with the Investigators and the CRO, when applicable
Facilitates Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request.
Skills & Qualifications
Medical Degree or MSc, PhD degree in health sciences
Proven prior experience in Medical Affairs, and Biologics and Launches
Developed short to long-term operational plans for optimizing the organization or function and executed strategies.
Dermatology Immunology/ Allergology/Rheumatology therapy areas are desirable.
Understanding of commercial context, possibly from prior clinical trial and/or medical affairs experience
Understanding of Healthcare System & Experience in country compliance
Excellent communication skills and team competencies
Medical and scientific writing skills
Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including senior KOLs/KTLs
Business partnering, stakeholder management, with Innovative and strategic thinking.
Fluency in English, French and German is a must
