We develop and provide engineers and scientists with the quickest and most intuitive way to design and test cutting-edge control systems for electric cars and aircraft, smartgrids, or industrial machinery.

To strengthen our purchasing team, we are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Request quotations and place purchase orders at international suppliers
• Leverage analytical skills by monitoring demands and consumption, purchase prices and order status as well as phase-in/phase out initiatives
• Monitor supply quality and handle non-conformities
• Take ownership for your components portfolio and commodities by manage the suppliers with reasonable Key Performance Indicators as well as Total Cost of Ownership
• Place, manage and follow-up larger framework contract agreements
• Leverage your language skills by conducting price, terms, and conditions negotiations in English and other languages
• Maintain article and supplier data in the ERP
• Coordinate components demand and forecasts with other departments.

Requirements

• Completed commercial or technical education with several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in the electronics or mechanical industry
• Experience in operational and strategic purchasing in an international environment
• Solid understanding of contract mechanisms in the sourcing of technical components
• Fluent in English, German or any other language is a plus
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
