Our client in an international school
Description
Reporting to the Head of school your main missions will be to:
- Supervise and lead all the non-academic staff in the school, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team
- Support continuous improvement across the operations, improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for learning
- Oversee the management of health and safety, risk management and business continuity
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors for facility repairs and improvements
- Procure and manage resources necessary for the school's daily operations
- Provide oversight and management of transport operations
- Take a lead role in updating and implementing fire safety training under direction of Executive Head
- Ensure all policies are up to date and staff aware
- Collaborate with the HR department to support staff recruitment, on boarding, and professional development.
- Address HR-related issues in coordination with the HR department and the Head of the School.
- Provide finance support to ensure the effective financial management of budgets and resources monitoring
- Ensure reliable and accurate information to the Management related to your scope
- Collaborate with various departments (both in school and head-office) to address operational challenges and implement solutions
- Support regional CEO, Executive Head and Finance Director with ad hoc tasks when required managing and monitoring budgets
- Ensure effective reporting, forecasting and budgeting of your scope related income
- Explore and implement new ideas and approaches to generate additional income through marketing, new and current business links, sponsorship and other funding streams
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business development to enhance the financial sustainability
Profile
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Operations management and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- You are proactive and a self-starter with the drive to deliver results
- You are at ease in collaborating with various departments and are driven to improve business performance
- You have proven financial experience (analysis, budgeting and forecasting, reporting)
- You have knowledge and experience of the Switzerland landscape (accounting, fiscal and social legislation, legal)
- You have strong people management experience and leadership skills
- You have proficient level in French C1 and English B2 minimum
