Senior Legal Counsel
- Privacy compliance: ensure privacy compliance of the Maison’s projects, contracts, terms and conditions, and privacy policies; closely collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and respond to inquiries from internal business teams.
- Legal advice on B2C and technology-related matters: provide guidance and advice to support our B2C activities and tech-driven projects; validate various B2C materials from a consumer law perspective, including price displays, promotional games, remote sales, and terms and conditions of sales (both offline and online).
- Contracts: , structure, review, negotiate and/or interpret contracts within your scope in both French and English, including SaaS agreements, software licences, IT services, maintenance, development /or integration agreements.
- Litigation: manage and oversee potential pre-litigation and litigation cases relevant to your scope.
Background: a completed degree in business law, specializing in Privacy and Information Technology, with a solid knowledge of EU or Swiss consumer law. An additional qualification such as the Swiss Bar, French Bar (CAPA) or a certification from an organization like the IAPP would be a plus.
Experience: 4 to 7 years of previous experience working in-house within the legal department of an international company and/or at a law firm.
Language skills: fluent in French and English (written and spoken communication in both languages).
