Administrative Assistant Congressi Stefano Franscini
The Congressi Stefano Franscini is ETH Zürichs conference platform on Monte Verità. We provide an ideal meeting point for all members of the international scientific community who wish to discuss the state of the art and challenges of any field of research. We support the organizers in the planning and the execution of their international scientific conferences. We collaborate closely with the Monte Verità Culture and Conference Center, benefiting from the venue's rich history, breathtaking location, and state-of-the-art conference infrastructure.
You independently manage the on-site office, ensuring effective communication between ETH Zurich, organizers, participants, Monte Verità staff, and the local public. You welcome groups, handle travel expense reimbursements, and issue participation confirmations. You maintain the contact database, coordinate the distribution of promotional materials, and oversee public computer maintenance with the assistance of IT support. Additionally, you provide support to the administrative management in various tasks, including website maintenance, public relations, and communication with the scientific advisory board.
The ideal start date is 1st October 2024
We offer a permanent 50 - 70 % position
- Commercial or equivalent training with several years of professional experience in administration
- Excellent written and spoken English and spoken Italian skills
- German skills are a plus
- Strong service orientation and communication skills
- Experience and the ability to manage computer-based administrative processes (e.g. MS Office)
- A high degree of independence, commitment and initiative
- certain experience in public relations are welcome
A varied job with contact to many exciting customers with an office at a unique location. Outside the season, you are flexible in terms of work location and time.
