Payment Operations and Reconciliation Specialist
Overview of Role
We are looking for a pro-active and technically versed professional who has experience in all areas of the payments and cash possessing and transaction management as well as in reconciliation of cash and securities. Process optimisation, automation and change management are key elements of this interesting role. The position is tailored for people who take ownership of issues, investigations and requests and deliver results in an international cross-team and cross-departmental environment.
We are expecting the candidate to demonstrate a high client- and service orientation in the day-to-day business and to work in projects as well.

Processing of incoming and outgoing payments for all business units (Zurich, London, Milan) through SIC/EUROSIC/SWIFT
Handling of Cheque issuance and collection
Issuance and processing of Debit-Cards and corporate Credit-Cards
Processing of Direct Debit transactions
Processing of cash withdrawals/deposits at cashier desk
Handling of vault - and safe deposit box transactions
Processing of Foreign Exchange and Money Market trades
Cash and securities reconciliation
Confirmation matching of Forex, Fiduciary, Options, Money Market deals
Proactive management of all kind of issues, investigations and answering of internal and external requests
Process and service improvements and automation
Testing of Avaloq releases and IT changes
Process- and procedure re-design
Education and Qualifications
Commercial degree, higher banking education
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Minimum of 6 years banking experience required
Practical knowledge of Avaloq banking platform is a strong benefit
Experience in payments processing
Understanding of reconciliation processes
Knowledge of SWIFT, SIC/EUROSIC systems
Strong team player with a can-do attitude and profound communication skills
Reliable and accurate approach
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and good German skills
