Technical Support Engineer
For our client, a leading manufacturer of medical devices in Graubünden, we are looking for a motivated individual with practical experience in electronics or mechanics and a willingness to travel up to 50% internationally
Technical Support Engineer
Your tasks
- Planning, communication and execution of technical distributor audits
- Ensure that the communication, timing, implementation and results of the global service partner audit program meet our objectives and that any non-conformances are tracked and corrected in a timely manner
- Recording customer complaints with full information and documentation in the complaints system
- Provide technical training to users as required
- Perform remote troubleshooting
- Act as company ambassador when visiting customers
Your qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship/studies in the field of electronics or mechanics
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role
- Experience with EU and FDA medical device regulation and/or local authorities (SwissMedic, BfArM)
- Proven experience with reading and interpreting device diagnostics and/or troubleshooting mechanical ventilation devices
- High customer service skills, positive attitude, and ability to communicate with others clearly and tactfully. Strong customer orientation
- Good computer literacy, standard operating systems + MS Office.
- Speaks/writes/reads English and German (fluent or native speaker)
- Travel requirements up to 50% (international)
