In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing monthly Group consolidated accounts for internal use and quarterly reports for external purposes, including contributions to Half-Year and Annual reports. Collaborate closely with Group Corporate functions like Tax and Treasury, as well as global offices, gaining exposure to diverse accounting and consolidation matters. Enjoy the opportunity to work in a highly international setting and directly engage with multiple countries as their corporate reporting liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a group of countries in accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and timely financial reporting during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Establish strong relationships with Corporate Functions, providing technical guidance and support for accounting-related inquiries.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting analysis to facilitate decision-making processes and contribute to special projects for senior management.
- Participate in the preparation of external publications such as the Integrated Annual Report and Half-Year Report, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Provide technical support and training to countries and corporate functions as needed, ensuring adherence to internal controls over financial reporting (ICS).
- Oversee and facilitate the smooth execution of Group and Statutory Audits, ensuring continuous improvement in the audit process and leading the Bonus calculation process.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in external audit, consultant firms, or multinational reporting departments.
- Comprehensive Consolidation and IFRS knowledge, strong analytical skills, relationship-building abilities, pragmatic problem-solving approach, self-driven and motivated work ethic, effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in English required; additional languages such as German are highly valued.
