Laboratory Specialist
For a client company, we are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting advanced biotechnological production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. The team operates across four key areas: Monoclonal Antibodies (MAB), Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC), Single Use Technology (SUT), and Small Molecules (SM), all of which contribute to providing essential medications worldwide. The Manufacturing Labs Team is looking for engaged candidates ready to take on diverse and challenging tasks in a biological production environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as a laboratory technician with over 3 years of professional experience. Familiarity with GMP environments and proficiency in various PC systems (MS Office, Google Suite) are required, along with excellent German language skills.

- Duration: 1 year, with a possibility of extension

- Work Hours: Standard; on-call duties may be required
Responsibilities:
- Support advanced biotechnological production in the Manufacturing Labs area
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Assist with the development and optimization of process workflows
- Manage materials in laboratory areas
- Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting for production sites
- Conduct training on lab equipment and ensure lab readiness
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, or Pharmaceutical Technologist (Master's/PhD holders not needed)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in biotech active ingredient production
- Work experience in GMP environments, ideally within laboratory or biotech production
- Strong proficiency in German (written and spoken)
- Skilled in PC applications (MS Office, Google Suite)
- Capability to understand complex systems and apply them in practice
- Enjoys planning, coordination, and document handling
- Self-motivated and flexible, with willingness for on-call duty
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with laboratory software applications (e.g., SLIMs, Unilab) and MES systems
- Knowledge of English
