Project Leader Global Transport & Contract Logistics (m/w)

  • You have completed your studies (Bachelor / Master) in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics / supply chain management (SCM) or similar studies
  • You have experience with logistics processes in the automotive industry
  • Extended experience in transport logistics would be desirable
  • Your presentation and communication skills are excellent and you possess good project management skills
  • Assertiveness as well as a high level of competency in networked thinking distinguish you
  • You are fluent in English and German. Further languages are beneficial

  • As our new Project Manager (m/f) for Global Transport & Contract Logistics, you are responsible for the creation, implementation and optimization of global transportation strategies as well as for the international warehouse and contract logistics of the ThyssenKrupp Steering Group
  • You analyse material flows with the aim to negotiate logistics contracts with optimal cost and quality parameters and manage our warehouse budget
  • This includes the ongoing development of existing contracts, including the definition and implementation of optimisation measures in cooperation with relevant project teams
  • You are responsible for benchmarking our logistics contracts through KPIs for profitability measurement and you report these to plant, division and board management
  • Performing Quality Business Review meetings with service providers, portfolio management of the relevant partners as well as conducting trainings at our international locations are also part of your role
  • Last but not least, you follow the latest technologies in the area of warehouse and system technology and implement relevant new concepts
