LINE MANAGER: Consolidation & Accounting Compliance Snr Manager
You will play a key role in the Accounting and Financial Reporting department, with the main objective to deliver the highest standards of group accounting and IFRS reporting.
•Monitor the timeliness of monthly/quarterly closing and ensure that subsidiaries report high quality financial data
•Prepare and present the monthly/quarterly consolidated financial reporting to Management
•Prepare the IFRS annual consolidated financial statements
•Master in IFRS accounting research, which includes the preparation of Group accounting policies/papers
•Coach and train accounting colleagues across different geographies
•Contribute to maintaining and enhancing key control activities over financial reporting processes, including making recommendations for improvements
•Leverage the Share Service Center’s involvement and impact in the Group’s financial reporting process
•Liaise with Finance Transformation and IT to continuously enhance the automation and quality of the Group’s financial reporting
•Collaborate with external auditors
•Lead or participate in ad hoc projects; provide ad hoc reports
•Certified Public Accountant
•Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in preparing/auditing IFRS consolidated financial statements for large multinationals (Big 4 audit background is a plus)
•Strong IFRS track record
•Ability to lead and coach
•Strong organization skills and a capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
•Ability to operate in a fast moving, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
•Proactive and collaborative team player with the ability to bring projects to completion as per management expectations
•Communicates effectively to business partners and stakeholders
•Fluent in English
•Knowledge of Tagetik is a plus
•Experience with SAP is a plus
