ASS. DIRECTOR PHARMA SUPPLY CHAIN
Our customer is a big player in the Health Care Industry, offering a wide range of globally established and recognized products. We are urgently looking for an Associate Director SCM to oversee and manage operational launch readiness activities and support various operational projects in different therapeutic areas. You will work in close collaboration with Procurement, Manufacturing sites and Commercial department to support launch and product management, and to initiate and support improvement projects to enable stable supply chain and improvements in launch process. As part of the Global Supply Chain Team, you are accountable for the efficient execution of Global Supply in the network of development process of drugs to commercial delivery. You oversee, plan and lead Global Supply Chain launch operational readiness including liaison with commercial, market, and sites for first launch as well as with markets for expansion. You develop an operational strategy and aim for in time readiness to support marketing plans.
In this role you are responsible for launch supply issues communication to SCM Regional supply teams when there is a supply related or launch related topic impacting their region, you will align with key demand changes, constrained supply plans, mitigation strategies, long term supply planning as well as inventory and obsolescence management. You manage the communication of major demand shifts to manufacturing sites to ensure rapid response from supply sites. This role involve trouble shooting with different stakeholders on the sites and in the supply hub. You lead projects such as site transfers, product / process changes / scale-up, new product configuration and overall cost of goods reduction and ensure timely execution.
7 - 10 years of professional experience in leading operations, global supply chain, logistic or procurement processes in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry
Solid understanding of supply chain best practices, and ability to complete a robust supply chain analysis and effectively summarize and present conclusions
Strong project management experience with the ability to identify risks and benefits for assigned projects and identified opportunities
Ability to identify discrepancies between manufacturing current and future capacities, forecast demand and implement process and strategies to mitigate the risks
Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time
