Ferring+You
As a member of Quality Assurance department, reporting to Quality Assurance Manager, responsible of Supplier Quality Management Process, you will serve as the Single Point Of Contact to ensure that suppliers do deliver reliably and consistently goods or services used in cGxPs related activities for commercial products, in accordance with Ferring’s Quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
Your day at Ferring
Work with local and global functions as well as with suppliers to develop and implement Supplier Quality Management Process.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure suppliers management accordingly to Ferring global / local SOPs and to cGxPs / ISO 13485 regulations. “Suppliers” includes APIs, excipients, packaging materials and Medical Devices suppliers.
- Manage or support in timely manner internal deviations, CAPAs and change management records related to suppliers. Is the Single Point of Contact with internal stakeholders(Warehouse, Quality Control, Production, Procurement,...) for quality purposes and improvements.
- Establish and maintain direct contacts with suppliers to manage any complaints, deviations, change management records, CAPAs as well as projects linked to suppliers quality activities.
- Establish, maintain and develop Quality Performance Indicators for periodic suppliers performance evaluation.
- Perform periodic quality performance evaluation as well as periodic overall re assessment of suppliers.
- Establish and maintain up to date Quality Technical Agreements , suppliers assessment as well as quality risk management records. Write, review, and approve corresponding material specifications.
- Plan and conduct periodic audit of suppliers. Follow-up and close CAPA plan in timely manner regarding audit observations raised. Support due diligence and RFI/RFQ process related to suppliers sourced.
- Identify process gaps and /or quality deficiencies within suppliers management activities. Propose opportunities for continuous improvement of suppliers quality management process.
- Support preparation and participate to periodic health authorities’ inspections as well as global QA and customers audits.

- Minimum Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in science or in related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant and successful experience in a related industry with significant experience in Quality Assurance activities.
- Knowledges in the fields of Quality Control, Medical Devices, lead auditor certification and significant experience in suppliers audits would be an asset.
- Strong suppliers / customers orientation and ability to set up links between internal and external partners.
- Ability to gather, analyse and interpret a wide range of information/data and develop rationales for pragmatic recommendations/decisions.
- Fluent in English and French both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of management.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to assess risks and shape decision making.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and work with minimum supervision, good initiative and good follow up.
