Chief Commercial Officer (100%)
The organisation, which was founded as a start-up by several renowned Swiss scientific institutes, has convinced with its business idea and today offers a world-leading IT solution in the sustainability field. Thanks to its growth and success, the organisation wants to further develop its management structure to drive the ambitious growth plans. The organisation is therefore looking for an experienced Chief Commercial Officer and Member of the Management Team reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.
As Chief Commercial Officer you are responsible to drive sales activities, distribute and sell licenses, promote and strengthen the global presence and drive commercial business development. You have clear revenue responsibility, you generate financial resources and funds to maintain and develop the organisation’s IT solution. You are responsible for the execution of customer projects and the corresponding budget, as well as financial, HR and legal issues.
Together with the other members of the management team, you assure representation of the organisation, strategic internal & external communication, a common IT Strategy, Quality Management, you drive resources and priorities within the organisation and are responsible for the overall budget.
University degree in Economics, Commercial or Business management
Strong Sales background with 5+ years in a similar position
Solid experience in IT specialized SMEs
Ideally, experience in the sustainability industry
Experience in creating and understanding financial reports, budgeting and in creating business plans
Proven track record in acquiring new customers and generating new business opportunities
Strong experience in project management by leading large client projects (with a duration up to 2 to 3 years)
Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders and customer groups
Proficiency in English and in German or French, including technical and legal terminology, negotiation skills in further languages a plus
