Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician on a contract basis to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on a range of production equipment and systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment problems that arise, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.
- Collaborate with other Maintenance Technicians and Production staff to ensure all systems and processes are running smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with new equipment and industry trends.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance in a production or manufacturing environment, with a preference for pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience.
- Experience with pharmaceutical production equipment and processes is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of working in a GMP environment.
- Skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Experience working with bioreactors is a plus.
- Ability to conduct investigations related to maintenance issues.
Team Structure:
- You will be part of a team of 14 technicians, organized into smaller teams of two.
Location Requirement:
- Candidates should be based near Neuchâtel or willing to relocate.
