Laboratory Technician - Full Time

Our Lincoln, NE location is hiring multiple Lab Technicians / Bioanalytical Associate Analysts to join our team. These roles are Full-time benefited positions. Salary starts at $19 per hour and is commensurate with experience with opportunities for an increase at 6 months with successful performance.
Responsibilities:
Process/extract biological samples (blood, urine, plasma, feces) both manually and using automation
Prepare solutions/reagents
Record and document test data in notebooks/binders/electronic notebooks
Perform analytical analysis of samples using chromatography (LC-MS/MS and HPLC) or ligand-binding techniques (ELISA, RIA, EIA and PCR)
\nQualifications:- Associate’s degree, Bachelor's degree or previous coursework in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related field is preferred
- Exposure to pipetting; will pipet an average of 2-3 hours per day, at times up to 8 hours
- Experience with GLP’s is a plus
- Basic computer skills; able to read and enter information via computer 50% of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Monday - Friday daily, during normal business hours, 8am-5pm, with some flexibility
- Due to the highly variable nature of our business, we ask you to be available for at least 1 weekend day in a four week period, and when workload allows ability to commit to at least 10% hours above your minimum
