Senior Legal Counsel
We are looking for a proactive lawyer with a strong background in handling large data situations and contract negotiations.
EmploymentThe Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for creating and developing internal legal systems and establishing best practices for the organization. You will be a strategic partner to all our employees, contributing to the organization’s growth and success.

Managing numerous diverse tasks at the same time does not phase you.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on various issues, including regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data protection law, and more.
- Own and develop internal legal systems.
- Draft, negotiate, and review agreements and contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with applicable legal standards.
- Assist in resolving disputes, including negotiation, mediation, and, if necessary, litigation management.
- Stay current with relevant laws and regulations impacting the ecoinvent association and advise on necessary adjustments to business practices.
- Provide training to internal stakeholders on legal matters and promote legal awareness within the organization.
- A degree in Law and Swiss bar admission.
- At least 10 years of experience in a law firm and/or a company in the environmental or technology industries.
- A deep understanding of the intellectual property of data.
- General knowledge of all legal aspects of business.
- Sound business judgment and the ability to quickly analyze complex legal matters.
- Expertise in the Swiss regulatory environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
