Business Developer
At MYNERVA - a Wyss Zurich project- our mission is to improve the life of patients suffering with diabetic neuropathy.
MYNERVA developed a medical device to artificially restore the sense of touch and decrease pain using AI-driven non-invasive neurostimulation.
Our multinational, interdisciplinary team is looking for a "Business Developer" (100%) that will contribute to the business development of Mynerva’s products, and play an active role in our small but agile team.
Role Overview:
The Business Developer will be an integral part of our dynamic team, focusing on advancing the commercialization of our innovative medical devices designed to enhance the quality of life for patients with diabetic neuropathy. Utilizing cutting-edge, AI-driven non-invasive neurostimulation technology, our products aim to restore the sense of touch and reduce pain. The successful candidate will be involved in strategic planning, market analysis, and building strong business relationships to facilitate the growth and impact of our product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and viable market strategies and opportunities for our medical devices.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance business development objectives.
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand product specifications and market positioning.
- Support the definition of a successful reimbursement strategy.
- Prepare detailed business plans outlining the potential of new product developments.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote our products and commercialization efforts.
- Collaborate with management to determine licensing and partnership agreements.
- Negotiate with potential partners to close deals that align with the company's goals and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in business development within the medical device or healthcare sector
- Strong understanding of the medical device industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in data analysis and market research
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multinational team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Strategic thinker with a clear vision for growth
- Willingness to travel as required (typically a few days per month)
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, multi-cultural compatibility
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation in the healthcare field
- Fluency in English
