At Würth Finance International B.V., we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our business operations. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations adhere to regulatory requirements, supervisory mandates and (group-)internal policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with our stakeholders and (intercompany) business partners, driving compliance excellence within our organization. With the introduction of our GRC-Tool you will have the tools to propel the compliance organization at Würth Finance International B.V. forward.
- Design, implement and manage the Compliance program and year plan
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate effectiveness of compliance and identify areas of improvement and mitigating controls
- Collect and assimilate risk and compliance related data and prepare analysis reports (including GDPR and ESG)
- Act as gatekeeper and ensure that policies and processes are understood and adhered too
- Provide guidance and (organize) training to staff on compliance-related matters
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes, policies and procedures related to several risk and compliance topics
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all our stakeholders and (intercompany) business partners
- 3-5 years of experience as a compliance officer in the legal or financial industry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong integrity, objectivity and ethical decision-making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good business command of English, a good command of German is advantageous
Our Controlling team (including Treasury Control, Financial Control and Compliance) operates from our headquarters in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, as well as our Branch in Rorschach, Switzerland. Regular collegial exchanges occur between locations, requiring your presence at our Rorschach Branch for one week every quarter.
