Global Controlling Manager, Operations (f/m/d)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting activities related to Procurement (Direct & Indirect) and Supply Chain (Inventories and Freight cost).
- Providing guidelines for regional teams for raw material prices, freight cost and indirect spend development.
- Monthly variance and KPI analysis (group & regional level), comparison vs. budget and previous year, update monthly KPI dashboards and report commentaries on key figures to management.
- Business partner role for head of global procurement and head of global supply chain, supporting related strategies, projects, improvement initiatives.
- Decision support for business partner teams: Evaluating supplier’s offers, supporting supplier negotiations, providing data transparency (spend/cost, inventories, savings, etc.).
- Monthly price tracking for key raw materials, recalculate intercompany raw material prices, manage supplier bonus accruals
- Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis for Procurement Principle (SIG entity in Neuhausen).
- Key role for commodity hedging decisions for the group for related A-Material exposures.
- Develop data analysis possibilities with BI-Tools (e.g. QlikView/QlikSense) to improve data transparency.
- Ad-hoc analysis for various stakeholders (Procurement/SCM business partners, top management/board requests, regions, FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, sales teams etc.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- 5-7 years of experience in controlling area of multinational multicultural organisations operating in manufacturing field, preferably with a focus in the field of procurement
- Finance & Business administration degree (University or comparable)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (complex Excel analysis and selective Powerpoint presentations)
- Knowledge of ERP SAP (particularly FI/CO module)
- Basic knowledge of COGNOS/TM1
- Language skills: English business fluent
