Quereinsteiger mit vielfach jahrelangen praktischen Erfahrungen können eine wertvolle Ergänzung der im Studium erworbenen theoretischen Kenntnisse darstellen. Ein Marketing Manager sollte ein gutes Allgemeinwissen haben und für neues Wissen offen sein.

The District Manager/Office Leader (DM/OL) Staffing serves as a company leader and is a member of the management team of the business line Staffing. The DM/OL plays an important role in marketing and sales-driven activities in order to contribute to accelerating the performance of the Office business line and at the end also the whole Randstad company in Switzerland. The goal is to promote and expand commercial activity in order to generate revenue and to strive for sustainable growth and long term relationships with clients.

Main Responsibilities

Sales

  • Proactively developing the business segment called 'office'

  • Identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts

  • Defining the market approach to gain new clients, focusing on the long-term interests

  • Constitution and execution of strategic market plans

  • Planning and supervising all commercial activities (both proactive & reactive)

  • Relationship management both externally (clients and prospects) and internally (account management and business development)

Leadership / People Management: Coaching and Development

  • Coaching and developing direct and indirect reports

  • Developing successor(s) for district manager and branch manager level

  • Motivating and challenging direct and indirect reports to achieve their excellence in execution (performance management); their people management

  • Monitoring and evaluating the results of the branches and the branch managers in line with their KPIs/objectives/targets

  • Ensuring all people management processes are carried out in line with the company policy

Performance Management: Innovation and new services

  • Responsible for the full Profit & Loss (P&L) of the Office segment

  • Drives the 'Tech&Touch' initiatives in the area of responsibilities (incl. implementation, roll-out, etc.)

  • Ensuring the efficient execution of all the corporate processes and concepts within the district in line with the company policy and in compliance with rules and regulations

  • Making quantitative and qualitative plans to support the above

  • Monitoring and steering performance in line with the KPIs of the district/region



- University, bachelor's degree or equivalent professional & intellectual ability, further commercial/sales education is an asset

- +/- 5 years of successful experience in service sales and at least 3 years experience managing a team

- Proven track record in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients sustainably

- In-depth understanding of the market, market trends and clients - high commercial awareness

- Commercial drive and passion for results, resilience and promoting core values

- A strategic and open mindset, embraces change and feedback culture - dares to take calculated risks

- Excellent knowledge of matrix and cross-functional organizations

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills (inspiration combined with hands-on mgmt.), values diverse teams

- Recognized as a strong leader, hunter, and networker

- Transparent way of managing people bottom-up and top-down

- Outstanding business acumen and drive with an entrepreneurial mindset

- Ability to interact at all levels and to establish solid long term relationships internally as well as externally

- Knowledge of the Swiss market is a strong asset

- Stress resilient (willing to travel extensively within Switzerland on a national level)

- Excellent knowledge of French, German and English

Ability to lead remote teams (Lausanne, Basel, Berne, Zurich, Geneva)
