Tasks:
- Designing and conducting different types of research studies with a focus on usability studies.
- Collaborate with product teams to define and prioritize research questions. Ensure effective communication of research findings, including synthesizing them into workable design principles
- Support product improvements based on research findings.
- Analyze, synthesize, and interpret study findings into key insights to be delivered to crossdisciplinary stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
- Conduct usability studies, using other methodologies, including diary studies, literature reviews, surveys, and relevant approaches to answer research questions.
- Engage crossfunctional stakeholders to align on research needs and define projects that clearly convey the goals, hypotheses, recruiting characteristics, methods to be used, and expected impact. Work with crossfunctional remote teams across Real World Journeys
- Identify and frame strategic problems, own the research lifecycle, translate insights to influence both short and longterm product decisions and roadmaps.
- Explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research such as field studies, interviews, diary studies, participatory workshops, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
- Product research experience in an applied research setting.
- Experience preparing and conducting usability studies
- Excellent analytical ability, especially with regard to observation of user behavior.
