Lead Engineer LNG Marine 80-100 % (f/m/d)
To strengthen the Project Engineering Office (PEO) in Winterthur we are seeking a highly committed and passionate personality as:
The main tasks of your role:
- Subject matter expert for liquified natural gas (LNG) and hydrogen (LH2) applications in the marine environment.
- Develop pioneering technical solutions for plant engineering and system design of the entire compressor package scope
- Define, promote, and continuously improve global engineering standards, based on market and product requirements
- Timely and cost optimized delivery of engineering documents
- Structured management of the related engineering know-how and training
- Collaboration with product management and R&D and participation in innovation process
- Consult application and project engineers during sales and execution phase
- Identify suppliers for new products and ensure a global supply chain in cooperation with strategic procurement
Your knowledge, experience and skills:
- Master's degree preferably in mechanical or process engineering, or similar education
- At least 5 years’ of experience in an international environment, preferably within the marine technology related fields
- Understanding of the relevant codes, standards and requirements
- Solid knowledge of plant engineering and construction of rotating equipment.
- Fluent English in written and spoken is essential, good German language skills are an advantage.
