Network and Security Engineer (Fortinet)
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions utilizing Fortinet products.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
- Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and respond promptly to incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network and security issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices to enhance network security posture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in network engineering and security roles (sall seniority levels are considered)
- Strong proficiency in Fortinet environments, including experience with FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
- NSE7 or NSE5 certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
