Mission


The Social Media Coordinator is part of a successful communication team that delivers world-class social media content across the six disciplines of the governing body of aquatic sports.



Main responsibilities


  • Enforce and applying the social media strategy in line with business objectives to raise the notoriety of FINA and its events;
  • Create and update a cross-platform content plan adapted to each social media channel, providing new ideas and suggestions for creative formats;
  • Ensuring content is delivered via the agreed posting, tagging, promotion, geotargeting and reporting procedures;
  • Production of post, eye catching copies, short video clips and basic graphic templates for social media purposes;
  • Promotion of FINA events, OTT platform and education programs through the creation of social media advertising campaigns;
  • Coverage in competition time: live coverage and posting of photo & video, behind the scenes and near-to-live content, interviews, highlights, announcement of key facts over the different social media channels;
  • Liaise with Organising Committees to create social media synergies and optimisation;
  • Delivery of reports (metrics) on a monthly basis / after FINA key event


Profile


  • English language native;
  • Minimum experience in social media: 3 years in similar environment;
  • Swiss permit of residence;
  • Strong creativity and passion for sport and digital media with knowledge of Aquatic sports;
  • Availability / flexibility to travel and work during weekends;
  • Open-minded, flexible and able to deal with people effectively at all levels;
  • Strong editorial skills / Basic video and graphic production skills;
