We are currently looking for a Lab Technician - Sensor Technology to support an R&D project in the field of measurement systems and data analysis. This is a hands-on lab-based role ideal for someone with strong practical experience in executing measurement campaigns and experimental setups.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation and handling of test devices
- Execution of measurement campaigns with data acquisition
- Validation and analysis of measurement data
- Assessment of measurement uncertainty
- Structured documentation of test results
- Collaboration with R&D engineers and project leads
- Maintain a high level of reliability and structured work ethic
- Work primarily on-site in our lab in Hinwil, with up to 20% remote flexibility
What You Bring
- Completed education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- 3-4 years of professional experience in:
- Experimental design and laboratory setup
- Measurement execution and test equipment handling
- Data validation, analysis, and uncertainty assessment
- Experience with Matlab (1-3 years)
- Basic knowledge of Python; LabView is a plus
- Strong team player with a hands-on mentality
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
- Experience with ultrasonic measurements is an advantage, but not required
