What impact will you make?

Bring customer strategies to life, by designing and implementing vital sales and service experiences, capabilities and architectures, while applying a range of digital technologies such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, and Apple.

As a Salesforce Technical Architect in Digital Customer, you have Salesforce architecture experience, you have proven experience in commercial transformation, you have analytical skills, and you are passionate about digitisation.

As part of our Digital Customer team you will advise and support leading (inter)national companies in implementing and optimizing Salesforce Platform suite to enable business excellence.

In our Sales and Service Transformation Team, you will work from day one directly for a diverse range of customers. You will have a great deal of responsibility and opportunities for personal initiative. In a multidisciplinary and diverse team, your contribution to projects is indispensable from the start.

 

This is how

  • Using your expert knowledge of the Salesforce Platform suite, lead the architecture design of innovative solutions that meet or exceed client's expectations;

  • Cultivating the end-to-end development of market activity such as responding to procurement/RFP/RFI/pre-sales activity, being an industry thought leader, engaging customers in discovery exercises and developing new and existing relationships;

  • Provide colleagues and clients a steer on the end-to-end delivery of projects which align to the strategic direction and scope;

  • Lead, mentor and develop colleagues by challenging them to stretch themselves professionally and thinking out of the box;

  • Recommending and implementing actions for continuous improvement.

What you offer

You are sharp, analytical and focused on substance - a real high-flyer. Your main objective is always to achieve the best result for your clients. To achieve this, you set the bar high for your colleagues and yourself. And you have the necessary skills to achieve this result in collaboration with many stakeholders (in Switzerland and abroad).

  • Strong background of Salesforce Technical development delivering full project lifecycles across a diverse range of enterprise clients/industries;

  • Possess Architecture(Application and/or System Architects) and Developer Salesforce certifications at a minimum;

  • Ability to analyse and translate complex commercial objectives and processes into technical design documents, guidelines and policies which deliver tangible value to clients;

  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, CPQ and Community Clouds

  • Experience creating customised developments using Apex, Visualforce and/or Lightning Components;

  • Knowledge of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions


  • Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices

  • Knowledge of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture

  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)

  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)

  • Front-end development experience with VisualForce, JavaScript, HTML design and development experience; JQuery, AngularJS development.

  • Understanding of salesforce release management methodologies and techniques (DX; Change set or CI/CD based tools like Jenkins/Github, etc.);

  • Consulting experience with medium to large consulting firms focusing on cloud computing related consulting (storage, SaaS, multi-tenant computing, large scale computing environments, etc.);

  • Excellent presentation skills with an open communication style which fosters inclusion and trust with stakeholders internally and externally;

  • Lead cross technical resources, on and offshore, to deliver a single vision focused on client satisfaction;

  • Professionally driven and ambitious, you do not let go of the challenge until there is a solution, and you show commitment to the realisation of the solution in practice;

  • Open to working abroad and you have a good sense of political relationships and cultural differences;

  • Fluency in German and English is essential, fluency in French or Italian is a plus.
