Our client, an international company specialized in the manufacturing industry, located in the area of Zug, is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Import - Export & Customs Expert (m/f) to start as soon as possible.

Description

• Checking shipping documentation required by customers and suppliers, including customs documentation, commercial invoices and packing lists for all internal companies
• Supporting the development of processes and systems for all customs-related matters, including large-scale projects to secure the appropriate infrastructure and avoid delays
• Collaborating with business services such as customs agents and brokers, to understand whether processes for tariff classification and trade compliance are working correctly
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product availability and provide the necessary support to the 3PL
• Tackling master data topics relating to customs for any system related
• Assisting with transport arrangements taking place by sea and road
• Organizing intra-community deliveries

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in international trade and customs
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics with specialization in customs
• Formal training or relevant experience in import/export, customs, compliance or similar certifications
• Extensive knowledge of Swiss and International Customs laws and regulations
• Strong analytical capabilities, familiar with working in a complex and fast-paced environment
• Team player, strong communicator, able to lead change
• Experienced in conducting internal customs audits
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
• Full professional proficiency in English
