Senior Business Development Manager Hospitals & Health Care (m/f)
In this global key function, you will act as a translator between the clients in the hospital & health care industry externally and, the global product marketing, and the research & development teams internally. Your focus is to develop the business and identify opportunities for GF Piping Systems in the hospital & health care industry, especially in the EU and US. You constantly address the main customers' pains and product needs to the internal functions to develop new solutions and to extend the existing product ranges for this segment. Ensure a detailed market, competition, and business analysis for the existing product offering and identify gaps as a base to build a unique product package
Identify key regions in focused markets and potential partners or acquisition candidates to create new solutions, products, and services that address specific customer pains in the segment
Business field approach:
Derive customer-centric innovations to close gaps in the existing portfolio from a customer point of view
Ongoing alignment with different internal departments (R&D, Sales, Product Management)
Provide technical support to facilitate pre-sales activities, specification work, and lead generation
Center of Excellence
Enable and coach local business development managers in their sales and marketing activities.
Organize regular focus groups meetings to foster best practice and networking activities
Develop G2M plans in cornerstone markets together with our local sales teams
Key account management
Develop and coordinate a key account program addressing the major players
Promotion of all existing and newly developed solutions inside and outside of the organization along all relevant communication channels
A Masters' degree in natural sciences or technical vocations
A minimum of six years' experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager in the hospital and/or health care industry (is an absolute must)
English skills must be on a high professional level, every other language is an asset
Strong verbal and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills
Passion to build relationships and the ability to inspire institutions, decision-makers, and stakeholders from your ideas
Ability to travel >50%
