Salesforce Coordinator & Enterprise Architect (f|m|d) (80-100%) - Zurich - hybrid Work

In this newly created role, you will coordinate all CRM activities within SMG. These efforts will lead from fragmented installations and initiatives to a joint Salesforce roadmap and operations. Backed by this SMG strategic initiative you will introduce and apply a framework to fulfill the specific needs of each business unit in a unified and coordinated manner avoiding duplication of efforts.

You will be a trusted advisor to our team and clients and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. In this function you will be a key enabler for successful Salesforce implementations, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.

This role is also responsible for coordinating the pool of Salesforce engineers and administrators in Switzerland and our nearshore locations.

About the position:

Drive the implementation of the organization's strategy for a unified Salesforce

• Lead the development of a target enterprise system architecture for CRM activities with your product and engineering colleagues
• Develop Salesforce target architecture and data model including its integration with other solutions
• Analyze the current salesforce installations and identify initiatives for harmonization
• Provide technical leadership for Salesforce projects, including coordinating design and development activities and overseeing implementation

Implement a group-wide delivery model reflecting the strategy for Salesforce

• Coordinate and supervise the development work and align it with the roadmaps of the verticals and the Group
• Pooling and strategic development of capabilities for operating and enhancing the solution
  

Develop and maintain a governance model and change-management process fostering service quality

• Ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions through the application of best practices, comprehensive testing and review
• Actively work towards reducing the complexity of the CRM landscape and standardize the deployment and use of the software
• Define and ensure an adequate level of technical documentation

Establish and implement a framework for the management of the solution

• Propose the optimal licensing model from this solution together with Salesforce
• Budget and control all Salesforce-related costs of SMG

Technical leadership and building up know-how

• Guide the development team for building scalable, efficient, and robust Salesforce solutions
• Ensure that the Salesforce know-how is shared amongst resources and is following the evolution of the product
• Organize the training of users and teams on Salesforce platforms, features and best practices

• Extensive experience with the Salesforce platform and the various cloud products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, etc.
• Certifications for Salesforce solution and application architecture
• Architecture skills: This includes architecture patterns, integration techniques, data modelling, security and scalability.
• You have strong communication skills and are proficient in project management 
• Your strong analytical skills and strengths in business partnering allow you to identify changes early and derive corresponding action plans
• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience from a related field
