IT Infrastructure Systems Operations - Senior System Engineer

Our IT team is
looking for you!

You will be
joining an established and growing IT Infrastructure team which has made great
strides in bridging the gap between the business and IT. Within the Infrastructure Systems Operations Team, you will be expected to manage a wide variety of business critical
systems and applications as well as forge close relationships with key IT stakeholders
(Service Management, Service Owners, Change Delivery, and IT Leadership). Through these relationships you will be expected
to gain a strong understanding of how IT Services and our infrastructure are
managed and maintained to ensure the delivery of world class IT services. 

How you can
make an impact

·Operational management and administration of the
client and business IT platforms including but not limited to the following
tasks: patching, updating and vulnerability management, monitoring of server
application platforms, pro-active capacity management, planning of new
platforms and understanding of change control processes

·Incident and problem investigation, including
ticket analysis and resolution, working alongside other IT teams

·Pro-active approach to operational management,
adopting continuous service improvement practices to keep the IT services
regularly updated and current

·Create, update, and maintain ‘life-cycle’ technical
documentation

Who we are
looking for

·Degree in an IT related field

·Experience in administrating and supporting
Microsoft client- / server environments with a focus on server-side
technologies, such as Windows Server, MS SQL, IIS, SharePoint, Active
Directory, Group Policy, Systems Centre, Teams, and Exchange

·Strong understanding
of networking
concepts and DNS

·Knowledge in cloud, specifically Azure and cloud
native solutions

·Strong command of English, good German is an asset

Your team

You will be
part of a small team and will be required to work closely with other IT teams
locally and globally to plan, implement and support IT solutions covering all Microsoft technology and 3rd party based layers within the ITS Infrastructure, to
meet business requirements with an agreed delivery timeframe and then fully
support and manage the solution with a similar operational support requirement.
