Technical Research Analyst - Consumables

Your tasks
As the Technical Research Analyst, you will be a key member of the U.S Consumables Team. You will lead various quality, engineering, and R&D projects, interact with the Manufacturing and Service Engineering Group, support current product improvement activities and new product development, and execute field testing.
This role requires technical knowledge of chemistry/science with a focus on water chemistry analyses, basic knowledge of detergents, and a good understanding of quality assurance.
How you will impact Belimed and our clients
Support new product development for Consumables and related businesses
Provide Quality management support and guidance to ensure consumables product quality and an effective supplier management and feedback process
Prepare technical reports and effectively communicates findings to internal and external customers
Design and execute Design of Experiment (DOE) to test new products or improve existing products
Collaborate with the Research Specialist on receiving new goods and any other testing needs
Develop relationships with Field Service to leverage field testing of new products and collect customer feedback on the existing products
Analyze water testing results, provide reports, and field support
Provide technical support for customer chemistry conversions
Support various projects for Consumables and Marketing
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, process engineering, or related field required
2 years of experience working on robust product/experimental design/data analysis
Demonstrated competence with data analytics; basic knowledge of Minitab or similar analytics tool
Experience managing special departmental projects
Experience providing technical support to the sales/service team
Experience or participation in Product Launch process, including understanding of Phase Gate concept
