As Testing and Quality Engineer you play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality of our products by independently managing our in-house testing laboratory. You will also be the main point of contact for matters related to the quality of our footwear and contribute to safe, reliable products that meet customers expectations and our standards.

Do what you love

• Taking on full responsibility for the test laboratory.
• Maintaining the test laboratory independently, including budget responsibility and machine acquisition.
• Assessing and interpreting data from test results, and generating quality reports for the Development and Quality Management teams.
• Ensuring a cooperative interface between Development Department and Quality Management regarding product- and quality requirements.
• Overseeing product and quality standards in collaboration with both internal and external testing labs and service providers.
• Conducting training sessions on safety and usage for in-house staff, as well as for external specialists like mountain guides.
• Developing SOP documents for test facilities and test setups in compliance with international standards.
• Overseeing the PPE bulk release process.
• Support of European and Asian Footwear suppliers regarding Quality Management.

Play to your strengths

• Enthusiasm to run our in-house laboratory independently and take over responsibility.
• Degree in textile or engineering studies with further education in quality management.
• Min. 5 years of work experience in an equal field and/or industry, ideally in a laboratory.
• Textile garment production and testing knowledge.
• Very analytical thinking and problem solving oriented.
• Strong communicator to ensure crossfunctional network and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge in MS Office, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), FlexPLM and Math Lab or equal.
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
