Graduate Recruiter

Location: Baar ZG, Switzerland
We have a job opening for a Graduate Recruiter in Baar ZG/Switzerland and are looking to hire a solution-oriented person with experience in Recruitment and Human Resources. Usually, we are 2 or 3 days a week onsite at our office in Baar to meet colleagues and join meetings, interviews and events.
As Cognizant is growing, we will hirea large number of new young talents in Switzerland. In this role you will work closely with the Graduate Engagement Partner and be responsible for hands on recruitment work, campus hiring and other campus tasks.We are recruiting graduates for different Business Units in various roles (e.g. developers, business analysts, quality engineers, consultants and many more roles). Additionally, you will cover specific tasks of the Apprenticeship Program when necessary.
Role & Responsibilities
Young Talent Recruitment
Define graduate and apprentice recruitment strategy for Switzerland
Coordinate yearly demand in conjunction with internal stakeholders
Collaborate closely with hiring managers from different business practices
Actively source for candidates through different channels and advertising
Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment (prepare job advertisements, coordinate interviews, organize assessment days, initiate background checks, conduct hirings including salary negotiations and reference checks, and ensure proper onboarding)
Young Talent Management and Engagement
First point of contact for HR-related inquiries
Partner with vocational trainers to ensure a successful execution of the apprenticeship program
Coordinate the internal New Hire-Advisor and Mentoring program
Organize internal events and meet-ups
Collaborate closely with the Workforce team to improve the utilization of Young Talents as key talent supply source
Employer Branding and Events
Organize and conduct various external Campus events at Swiss universities
Build and maintain close relationships with event partners and Swiss universities
Set up and promote new recruitment marketing channels to enhance the Cognizant brand
Responsible for the procurement of give-aways
Manage the Graduate budget
Create marketing materials such as flyers, advertisements and presentations
Desired Skills and Competencies
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role
- Solution oriented, flexible person with an ability to prioritize and manage deadlines as well as to work under pressure in peak seasons
- Understanding of recruitment process (preferably in campus hiring)
- Knowledge of the Swiss education system preferred
- Strong communication skills; fluent in German and English (verbal, written)
- Understanding the IT and consulting business and its market is preferred
- Ability and interest to work collaboratively in local and global teams
- Experience in an international environment is a definite plus
- Valid permit to work in Switzerland
